These Terms of Use ("License") govern how you may use the One Current application (the "App") and accompany our Terms of Service and Refund Policy. By installing or using the App you accept this License. If you do not accept it, do not install or use the App.
1. License grant
Subject to your compliance with this License and the Terms of Service, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, perpetual license to install and use the version of the App you purchased, for your own use on macOS.
You may install and use the App on any Mac that you personally own or control. During the free trial the same License applies for the duration of the trial, for evaluation purposes.
This License grants you the right to use the App. It does not transfer ownership of the App or any copy of it to you.
2. Restrictions
You may not, and may not permit anyone else to:
- copy (except for a single backup copy), redistribute, sell, rent, lease, lend, or sublicense the App;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App, or remove or alter any proprietary notices;
- circumvent, disable, or tamper with the trial period, licensing, or any usage limits, or use the App without a valid license after the trial ends;
- distribute a license key or otherwise enable others to use the App without their own valid license;
- use the App in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
3. Ownership and intellectual property
The App, including its software, design, user interface, name, logo, and all related intellectual property, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. All rights not expressly granted to you in this License are reserved.
"One Current" and associated marks are our trademarks. This License does not grant you any right to use our name or marks except to truthfully refer to the App.
4. Trial use
If you are using the App under a free trial, you may use the App only to evaluate it during the trial period. All restrictions in Section 2 apply during the trial. When the trial ends, you must either purchase a license to continue using the App or stop using it.
5. Feedback
If you send us feedback, ideas, or suggestions about the App, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them to improve the App and our products, without any obligation or compensation to you. You are not required to send feedback.
6. System requirements and third parties
The App is built for macOS and requires macOS 13.0 or later. The App is distributed by direct download outside the Mac App Store and is not sandboxed; it uses standard macOS capabilities (such as keeping a window on top of others) to function. You are responsible for meeting the system requirements. We are not responsible for third-party software or operating-system changes that affect the App.
7. Updates and versions
Ordinary updates to the version you purchased are provided under this License at no additional cost. A future major upgrade may require a separate purchase, as described in the Terms of Service. New versions may be subject to an updated License presented at the time you install them.
8. Termination of the license
This License terminates automatically and immediately if you breach any of its terms, in particular the restrictions in Section 2. On termination you must stop using the App and delete all copies. Sections 3 (Ownership), 5 (Feedback), and 9 (Disclaimer) survive termination.
9. Disclaimer
The App is licensed "as is", without warranty of any kind, as described more fully in the Terms of Service (Sections 10 and 11), which also limit our liability. Those provisions apply to this License.
