This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we handle when you use One Current (the "App"), visit our website, join our waitlist, or buy the App. It is part of our Terms of Service.
The short version: the App keeps your tasks on your device. We don't have a server for them, and we never see them. The personal data we do handle is limited to your website, waitlist, purchase, and support interactions, described below.
We are the data controller for that data: Vladyslav Pohorielov, an independent software developer, contactable at vladpoh@onecurrent.app.
1. The App itself collects nothing about your tasks
One Current is a native macOS app that stores your tasks and settings locally on your device. It works offline.
- We do not run a server that receives your task data.
- We do not collect, transmit, or have access to the content of your tasks, task names, or how you use the App.
- The App does not require an account or a login.
2. What we collect, and why
We only collect personal data in these situations:

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Payments
Payments are handled by our payment provider and Merchant of Record, Paddle. When you buy the App, they collect and process your payment and billing information as the seller of record, including for tax purposes. We receive limited order information (such as your email and country) to deliver your license and provide support — we do not receive or store your full payment card details.

4. Service providers we use
We share the minimum personal data necessary with providers that help us operate:
- Payment / Merchant of Record: Paddle
- Email / waitlist: Resend
- Website hosting: Vercel
- Analytics: none
These providers act on our behalf and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes, except where they act as their own controller (for example the Merchant of Record for the sale).
5. International transfers
We and our providers may process your data in countries other than yours. Our providers (including Paddle, Resend, and Vercel) may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the providers' standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep data
- Waitlist / newsletter email: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Purchase records: as long as needed to support your license and to meet legal and tax obligations (typically several years, as required by law).
- Support emails: as long as needed to handle your request and a reasonable period afterward.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email vladpoh@onecurrent.app. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
8. Children
The App and our website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and post the new version on our website. Material changes affecting data we already hold will be communicated where required.
